I love the school. I was in the Fine Arts program and it was a very good experience. All the teachers were super chill and helpful. One fun thing to do was sneak into the backstage area with your friends and just roam around and flick random switches. But as someone that was there since Kindergarten to Grade 7, there's only one issue that I've really found.Since the school is split up in to 2 sections (Fine Arts and Standard") the fine arts side thinks they're better and starts projecting that to the standard program students (and vice versa)

If we could give a zero star rating we would. As a birth parent looking to place, or a couple looking to adopt, please, please, do your research.Unfortunately, after a 8-year journey with this agency, with no success in having a placement, we made the decision to close our file this year. Although we feel the agency was perhaps ran with true intentions at one time, it very much became to feel like no more than a money grab over the last couple of years. The process became cold, and this was re-affirmed to us after we made communication with our Social Worker this spring that we no longer felt the agency was best representing our interests as a couple, and that we wanted to close our file with them. We were ghosted....not even so much as an email back from her, but only a package several weeks later in the mail from the Executive Director, with a letter stating where we were on the list, and confirmation that they had closed our file and were returning our documents to us as per PIPA. This doesn't speak to me as an agency that truly cares about the adoptive families waiting for a placement with their agency. All they will tell you through your journey is that they know how hard and stressful the adoptive process is, and yet, when a couple comes to you with literally the hardest decision of their lives, realizing that their dreams to have a family of their own are not going to come to fruition, you don't have the audacity to show even a fraction of empathy or care????? I'm blown away. When we started this process we always knew there was a possibility that we would never receive a placement. However, after 8 years only to have had our file shown 23 times, and then to have at the end not even a morsal of care or compassion shown to us, just reaffirms what this agency has come to be.

I have adopted six times, and worked with 3 agencies....CHI was by far the best. They are professional, kind, and are great at what they do. CHI has excellent relationships with the countries they work with, and we were so happy with our experience with them. I would highly recommend them.

Amaris Adoption
This is by far the best adoption agency in Alberta. The staff are warm, compassionate, knowledgeable, and support you every step of your journey. They make you feel like family, and you can tell that they truly care about you. They are quick to answer any questions, and truly do have your best interest at heart. You can tell that everyone who works here is passionate about their job, and truly do want to find a loving home for every child.

I have found Michaele-Sue Goldblatt to be an excellent listener and able to take complex and conflicting emotions and make sense of them in an inciteful and helpful way. She is both wise and compassionate.

Offer great services but super disappointed with the accessibility. A place that advocates for inclusivity yet the elevator hasn’t been running for 5 months.

You did nothing to help me! Talked down on me and took my son away! You fought for the abusive father instead of helping me. I never want to see any of you as long as I live!!!

Relationship with this rescue group began well,. Submitted an adoption application which seemed at least semi-approved as it was good enough to schedule a meet and greet with the dog I was applying for. Drove an hour each way for meet and greet which I thought went quite well. Chatted with volunteer afterwards who stated she would have no issues with my adopting the dog, and that I should email that evening signifying my interest, which I did. Also emailed next day to confirm. Not having received any reply I emailed once more to be sure my emails were received, and was told yes
